So your saying military tires aren't recommend in the winter?
I have seen that once or twice also.
I drive up north in vt and by state every weekend in winter so if their going to suck then not even worth it.
I did like the idea though of being much cheaper but I also tow a good amount too

I haven't had to deal with large amounts of snow in almost 15 years, so I don't speak from recent experience. I was just commenting that I'm not sure I'd want them as my winter tire if I were in Maine. They haven't sucked in the snow I've put them through or in 4wd in a soggy field (much more common for me), but there are much better tires out there... they just come with a more appropriate price tag. And I have had no issues towing with the radials over the past 7 years or so that I've been running them.

Did some research. Unfortunately 16's will not fit on 05' and newer trucks due to brake clearance.
