So there are a few differences to highlight:
Went from:
67.56 to 73.37 Turbine wheel diameter
.91 AR to 1.00 AR housing
"old" 1023 tunes to revised 1023 tunes
In short, there is probably 100-200rpm more lag, boost varies but comes in about 1,500 rpm. It's not at all noticeable to my wife who daily drives the truck so I can take drive her accord to work. I was somewhat surprised by that. Is that the 2mm bigger compressor wheel or the 1.0 AR?
EGT's are lower, now is that the exducer or the 1.0 or both?
Boost comes on stronger and when towing, it is better. This I'd attribute to the compressor side. It is stronger there. Boost empty at part/full throttle is stronger too.
Overall, there isn't a lot of difference between the two and I wouldn't advocate changing unless you just want to. I sold the 364 quick and am out a modest amount of money. I tend to think the .91 AR would give a bit more spool and may be the sweet spot but towing with the 1.0 is great. No issues with boost, power, EGT. So I'm not all that worried about trying the .91.
