Running the garrett BB turbo and Stage 1 singles. The max boost im seeing is 30 psi.

Is that about what I should expect?

Also, what needs to be done to the Ford/Donaldson air box to prevent the restriction gauge from being pulled down? Ive allready drilled a 3 inch hole in the side of it.

Thanks

Who's "stage 1's" ? Calling an injector a stage 1 is just a pain, it means nothing because everyones stage 1's are something different...

What CC and nozzle size?

What altitude do you live at?

You have the AIS intake? or just the stock intake?

Not to derail but what is the dif between my stock gt38 and splits making 29psi and a 38r/1's making 30?

Aside from the obvious 1 lb.

to add to what Joe posted the BB 38R flows 33% more air then the stock 38

That's what I was looking for, I thought the housings were the same so if it's virtually the same psi.....? I guess I was wondering what this setup gained over stock. But volume is the answer.

In the words of the Wizard, "boost is a measurement of restriction".

IOW, the 38r will spool faster, flow more air with less back pressure, and lower egt's at the same psi. Add in 160cc in a single shot of fuel compared to the 120-140cc splits you have and the answer to your question is around 75-100HP.

Yep, if you shove the same amout of air through a bigger hole, less boost. Smaller hole, more boost. But it would still be the same amount of air.

Yes the AIS intake the ford dealer sells.

The injectors are Swamps 175/146 singles stock nozzle.

Altitude is fairly close to sea level in Maryland.
