Something else I have wondered about. I've heard you get some, but wasn't sure if it was true.

I've been pricing 5" kits today, so needless to say I've about made a decision.

I have 5" you made a wise choice sounds awesome

On the question about drone I only get it high gear low speed, when the engine is turning low rpms

Diamond Eye.

I've ran their 4" kit before. Fitment was great. Clamps kind of sucked, but that's why they make welders.

Good to hear! I have Diamond eye on my truck also. I knew it was a lower quality exhaust so I set my expectations low, but I was actually surprised everything went together awesome and had no issues.

Yea I ran it on my 04. Fitment was awesome. Everything went right together as it should.

Mine doesn't bother me much except for on the interstate or pulling the livestock trailer. Lol

Mine wasn't bad on the highway. But mid throttle was killer.... But that's a powermax for you

Passenger side back window opened 1/4 way.

I tried to quiet mine down one day and failed.....

4" DP, Steps to 5" under truck, then 6" where it comes through the bed. Will make your ears bleed when going through an overpass at WOT.

I'm done with that loud. Maybe a few years ago, but I have two young kids now that ride with me. Can't have them bleeding from the ears.

I took the tip off today. Can barely hear the damn thing now! That hacked up exhaust the previous owner put on it falling apart on me. Couldn't get the tailpipe to stay put, so the tip kept rattling on the body. Just took it off. Truck isn't near as loud as it was with it on. Didn't realize how much of a difference in sound it made. Oh well, new kit will be here by the weekend, along with a new shiny 6" tip!
