468FMW and 250/100's

Anybody else running a 468 with 250/100's? What kind of boost levels do you see?

I know most guys run a 200% nozzle on this turbo.

I have 468 and 225/100 . on my 80hp tune I have seen 47. I think 50 is obtainable in the hot.

Turbine housing size will affect your overall boost as well.

I typically see 40-45 psi. Just trying to see if I have a boost leak

I'll see 40-45 with spikes of 50 when its shifting. 1.10 ar and rave cover too.

What kind of egts are you seeing? Little different animal with those injectors. I feel like mine gets way too hot too fast when I get on it.

I have ran 230/200's w/ 1.00 housing and have seen 55psi. Runs well. Now running 350/200's and make about 60psi w/ 1.10 housing.

Something must be wrong with my truck then. I'm seeing around 1400 wot

That's the reason for my asking. I think something's wrong with my truck. I'm not sure if I have a boost leak or if it's something else like the hpop. I can't find a boost leak anywhere. I'll have to run some more datalogs.

I know boost is just resistance in the system and all. I was thinking maybe the spearco intetcooler I put on are dropping my numbers a bit. It's a big mofo

With a larger intercooler you will see a drop in psi.

the max file on the 250/1s will pull 53ish with the 42R, but it still goes to 1400F by the end of the 1/4 mi. 2900 ICP

yeah, check the data--Unless you've seen a noticeable change recently in a specific area, could be a combination of things. Having the scan gauge and looking at it enough, I'll know quickly when something isn't normal.

That sounds pretty good. Especially for a stock 17* pump.

I can bury my egt gauge at 1600 when I get on it going on the highway. It's pretty good until about 2/3 throttle. Then the egts just get out of control. My icp was just under 2600 psi at around 50% dc on my last wot datalog. Not sure if that would cause that much of a noticeable egt jump.

Has anyone ever had issues with the 01-03 intercoolers with the plastic sides not holding at higher boost levels? I believe the 99-00 were metal on the sides.

I blew out a plastic sided Intercooler on my 02 with just a 38r. Put another one in it and it was fine for 50k plus with the same boost levels so it must just be the luck of the draw. Put a all aluminum one out of a E99 in the truck now though

Low icp will cause high egts.
