if anybody has bashing or arguing to do, take it somewhere else, and when i say somewhere else, i mean not on this site. nobody needs to see this crap.

anyway, i think 800 is a very low estimate for the truck assuming it fuels hard enough.

900 would be something incredible. I am just gonna shoot for the stars when I roll it into the rollers and we will see where it goes from there...!

Thats all you can do man. Either way you have a ***ing sweet truck and a VERY SOILD build. I hope someday I can build a ride like yours Kaleb. Enjoy it man its well deserved!:toast:

i figure a simlar setup on a 6.4 will make 900 .... this motor is a tad more efficient.

I don't quite know how to respond to that. After all the time, effort, and money spent on this build, I should not enjoy it and cross my fingers and hope it lasts another drive? No. I totally disagree at this point in the timeline.


What I'm saying is, there's no reason you can't drive it through town on the stock trans. It's not slipping enough or gear hunting bad enough to the point where it needs to be parked. If another drive to you is, several wot runs, then obviously it's going to deteriorate. What I'm getting at is, You don't need to put it in storage until the new trans comes in. Drive it easy and enjoy the fact that it's running. Many other guys on this site don't have that privilege.

agree 100% ... and roadside assistance shold be the only reason its parked. mine only makes 600+ and its getting lazy going into reverse..

I've beat mine at a little over 500hp for 10k miles now. Towed over 20k plus. It's still drives. Idk how. But I'm sure if I wanted to be gentle it would last for a long time still. It's fun at the power it's at. I can't imagine how your truck runs with fuel and compounds. I guess I'll just have to wait till mines done.

I agree buddy.. I am going to take it out and around this weekend for a cruise. I love it, and love the power it makes at just half throttle. I just am looking forward to having it "completed." With that being said, its all in due time. The trans will be well worth it as everyone has stated and I have taken deep breaths and settled down to patiently await the final pieces arrival.

OH! and you and I both know that constant WOT runs are against my belief so there are no worries there. Now getting a little frisky every now and then... well.. yeah its a high HP street truck.. haha ;)

You missed the subject. Let's see if I can clear this up.

I baby the truck as is, only getting on the pedal on special occasions, events, testing, etc..

I do NOT agree that I should simply sit back and not be able to drive the way I want to because I still utilize a stock transmission while at the same time I am watching trucks that do not even run, receive the exact parts that I ordered a year ago.

I was fine with the wait, I have been patient and understanding, but between the Instagram posts I see of a delivered elite trans, to every single person at Ennis asking me where my transmission is and why some new comer got his first is severely disheartening.

Where do you think the truck is right now? Locked away in storage because I am doing what I am told and taking it easy as to let my stock parts live as long as possible. I'm not out doing burnouts, videoing runs, or doing anything that I'm sure a lot of other people would do.

Well I don't understand why I'm getting brought into this, my deal with tadd is completely irrelivent to yours. Best of luck

FYI. As of today Kaleb and I are square money wise, and to be honest he actually owes me money because I haven't received my engine core yet. I have not busted his balls about that at all.

As far a trans purchased from JD, call JD!

JD is not Elite Diesel, repeat NOT ELITE DIESEL.
