Anyone ever made replacement lines from the trans to the cooler ?

My factory lines are a bit abused, I was contemplating going to a 1/2 line an pushloc fittings from the trans to the cooler. Any issue with a bigger line. Figure it shouldn't matter as it's just feeding the cooler (6.0 cooler)

Anyone know what fitting the trans is ?

I was more worries that it might cause any issues. Just wanted to double check.

Marty shot me the fitting size. Believe it's 14x1.5 thread pitch to a -6 or -8.

I'm wanting to do the same thing.

My question is about the factory cooler in the radiator. Does it need to be there or can it be bypassed?

my early 99 bypassed the radiator from the factory...
Yes, it was, and that burned up a lot of transmissions. That's why Ford put it back in mid year 2000. So yes, you can bypass it, but you lose A LOT of cooling capacity.

With a 6.0 26 row and into the rad I rarely get the temp over 100* unless it's summertime or hauling heavy or racing in either truck.

I was thinking of bypassing it myself mark.

I'm planning a 6.0 cooler as well. I already have it ready to swap. I've just never started a thread to clear up my questions.

Right now I run a stock cooler and an alradco radiator, and a deep magtec pan and I've never seen over 155 on trans temp.
