Thanks. I still need to find dually front hubs to complete the look though. I don't like it with the SRW front hubs on there. A set of Alcoa's would be nice too.

Required tools

Below is pic of absolutely essential tools to complete this job. Pictured are a Ryobi 18V cordless with lithium battery and sharp bit, Ryobi cordless impact also with lithium, small sledgehammer, air chisel, and last but certainly not least Monster Rehab energy drink. I could probably buy a Cummins to stick in there if I scrap all those empty cans LOL!

All thats left on my truck is speedo cable, shifter boot, wire up tail lights on the flatbed and build my new front bumper. Can't freaking wait!!!

Thanks guys, it's been a huge project.

I need to wire in the tail lights and trailer connector. I'm building a front bumper from 1" C-channel with the sides from the frame rail out angled back, there will be end plates and a top plate so the thing sticks out about 6" kind of like a tow truck bumper. I need to take a section out of the back of the one tool box to fit the exhaust pipe for my 5" stack. Need to weld in 1/2" plate for my pintle hook mount. Install the filler necks, fab up a shifter cover (I'm modifying a junk yard one). Also need to install my new cluster with tach and wire in the tach sensor. Mostly simple stuff. I've got a lot left on the 2wd RCLB truck though, can't find frame motor mounts anywhere so I've been fabbing them up. Once those are in I can finish assembling the 6.9 to drop in. I've been using just the short block to make it easier to build the mounts. I need tank senders, selector valve, batteries, flywheel and clutch yet. My neighbor is a little frustrated but I've been working on it every night after work so he can't complain too much. I could have saved a ton of time and agony had I just swapped the front frames instead of swapping suspensions. Very few holes line up.

I figure by the end of the weekend I'll have the 2wd close to running condition/

Here's some more pictures. Almost done. Bumper needs the top plate/step made still but I need a new grille support first to replace my bent one. That will fill in the gap between the body and bumper. This is 10" C-channel, 1/2" thick, bent and welded solid. DO NOT GET IN MY WAY LOL!!! :biggun:
