I'm having trouble with my 5r110, the two 8mm bolts that hold the manual position lever backed out and I bent it tryin to force it in park well open the pan replaced it and the valve because I broke the end off of it while forcing it, got it all back together and it won't pull in any gear 0 line pressure and the fuel peddle is dead when in gear but revs fine in park..would this be a pump issue or some sort of limp mode? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The pump is mechanically driven off the crankshaft. If the engine is turning the pump is turning. There is NO WAY to disable line pressure other than break something in the pump or input shaft. If there is enough fluid in the trans, an internal filter, and the pump isn't broken then there will be pressure.

Okay so it's most likely my pump then? An would you know why the fuel peddle don't rev unless I'm in park? Some kind of safety? Thanks again

The engine won't rev if the computer detects that the transmission hasn't engaged in gear when you move the shift handle.

It is either the pump or the shaft. You have to take it apart to find out which. Assuming it has fluid...

Okay so I've pulled the trans and I'm assuming its the pump but I can't get the converter off of it, it's like it's seized, any ideas on how to get it off? Thanks.

You're going to have to pry it out. It is splined into the pump, apparently I was right about the pump failing. It has probably damaged the torque converter.

I am hoping your lucky enough to save the TC buddy. I blew the pump on the track. Replaced the whole trans after. You might want to look at doing a 08 pan upgrade I conjunction with this repair. To catch any debris that is lurking. That was my biggest fear as the cooler can hold on to crap. Good luck.
