I also plasti dipped the f250 emblems on the panels and tailgate. I left the 6.0 powerstroke badge because of the red in it.

I bought a Pioneer double din and after 2 weeks the screen corrupted and it lost all of its touch and just went blank. Also the parking break is a PITA and I couldn't get it to work, I tried hooking it to ground, didn't work. I figured it was faulty so I bought another one and it works good, however I still cant get past the parking break. Even when im actually parked it still shows the warning haha so I can only play songs and listen to the radio. I cant watch movies or navigation until I fix the parking break issue..

Like I mentioned before this is a base model truck so I had the annoying manual windows. I kept them as long as possible. The drivers side wasn't too bad. I liked the shoulder work out. It was when I needed to roll down the passenger window which was frustrating. Id be driving in decent weather a little cloudy and then boom it starts pouring. Id have to pull over to roll my window up while water is pouring into my cab. Also being that I have an early model 6.0 it is required to roll down the windows to listen to the turbo whistle. So I went ahead and installed power windows. Not too hard, only took about two and half hours. It turned it great and I think looks great.

I prefer gauges over monitors like the insight and live wire. So I bought the overhead console which holds another three gauges. Autometer doesn't make a factory match fuel pressure gauge so I went with ISSPROs ev2 factory match series. I also love the warning light because I prefer to be paying attention to the road instead of staring at all these gauges. They are very similar looking to my autometers which I am happy about because I HATE having gauges that don't match. It looks cheap and tacky IMHO. I also got the programming tool in order for me to use the warning light capabilities.

My next two gauges will most likely be EOT and ECT ev2s. Those will come later. I also went ahead and bought an SCT. Iv driven it quite a bit and have used every tune. It woke it up pretty good, but its still nothing compared to what I have planned for it. I will be getting "custom" tunes soon since everybody and their uncle is doing it. Sarcasm. Id also like to get some new tunes to fix the power surges of the canned tunes. Ill be cruising and it drives like stock. Then ill slowly press the pedal and it will gradually speed up. Then at about 2300rpm BAM it jumps to 3400rpm WOT. Its almost caused me to wreck. Im not surprised by it though, nothing custom tunes wont fix. Im also approaching 200k miles on stock injectors and stock tranny. The 5r is solid but it wont be enough. I wonder which will fail first. Hopefully the tranny because that is first on my list to build. Then when the injectors fail ill get the big boys to replace them and hopefully ill have enough change to give it a little air too.:evil

An adapter will be needed in order for the fuel pressure gauge sensor from ISSPRO to fit into the test port. I bought the adapter for $10. Now you run into the problem of room. The radiator hose is the biggest problem and the sensor will simply not fit. I went ahead and bought an elbow that would point the sensor downwards giving it just enough room to fit. Before I even tried messing with the elbow I thought about just relocating the sensor to a completely different spot for easy access and protection against HEAT and VIBRATION. So I went ahead and coughed up more money and bought some Braided Stainless Steel hose and more adapters. I decided the intake would be the best place to install. Simple, easy, and looks good.

Fuel pressure was at 50 psi idle and would drop to 40 with just half throttle. I immediately bought and installed the updated "blue spring" and it brought it up to about 60 psi at idle. At half throttle it drops to 50psi which is a lot better than before, however at WOT it still plummits. Usually goes down to 25psi, however I have seen as low as 15psi. I also installed the 6.4 banjo bolts and it made no noticeable difference. A lift pump is next on the list.

The ISSPRO gauge at idle and the warning light. If I could do it over I would have just gotten the insight cts and ISSPRO fuel pressure, boost, and pyro. Would look cleaner in my opinion and less wiring. Even with piggybacking still a pain in the A$$

You can also see in the above picture I removed all the stickers on the back glass but one. I also removed the 4x4 decals on the bed. Always been a fan of the clean look and that is what I will be going for.

Sold the Cooper Discoverer STT's and bought a set of 315/75/16 MM Wild Country XTX Sport. The Coopers did pretty good in mud and were quiet compared to toyos and nittos. However they wear pretty fast so I sold them while I could still get a decent amount for them. These Wild Countrys are a great tire so far. Only have 2,000 miles on them so I can cannot say much for wear, but they are very very quiet. Also the smoothest tire I have ever had. They do pretty good offroad too. They are temporary tires as I plan on getting some different wheels in the near future. I also went with some 05-07 HD lights. Instead of tearing into the engine, I decided I want to make the truck look presentable first. Next modifications will most likely be newer style tow mirrors, bumper, and HD grill.

Going to finish the 05-07 front end. Maybe add a 20 inch light bar. Any suggestions? :poke:
