6.0 intercooler w/plastic leaking?

I have a 6.0 intercooler with plastic "tanks" on my OBS. Of course it's leaking now by the hot side tank/core joint. Did any of the 6.0s come with an OEM ALL aluminum version? I don't want to lay out $1200 for a "Mishy".

No, there are no factory 6.0 metal coolers. You could go with a 7.3 super duty aluminum cooler if you wanted. I don't think it would fit right in though.

There are options, besides mishi****ty, to get an all aluminum intercooler.

All aluminum, tube and fin, direct drop in replacement for the 6.0 intercooler.
$229 on RockAuto. I’ve used probably a dozen of them.

I run the CSF 6029 bar and plate cooler on my 6.0 Excursion. It’s a nice unit too
