6.0 manifold Q

To install 6.0 exhaust manifolds on my 6.4 while I do my first stud install-

Hardware- 6.0 or 6.4? Or hardware store?
Gasket- 6.4 be fine? Same?
Ebp tube- I thought I read a 7.3 works well? Or keep my 6.4?

Oh also anything in particular off top your heads I'll need in addition to this package I'll attach a pic of. Also most importantly thank you for the information you all share on here fellers! It helps tremendously!

As far as hardware for the manifolds, use the 6.0 bolts and spacers.
Also for the ebp tube- just use your stock 6.4l tube

Yep 6.0 bolts and spacers. Also need both hpfp to rail tubes.

Yes those are correct. And the 6.4-6.0l exh manifold gaskets are the same.

Not to throw the thread off but what's the benefit of going to 6.0 manifolds on a 6.4?

better flow and sound.

also, the 90* bend is cast into the manifold which is much stronger than having the bend in the uppipe. i cracked three bellows on stock uppipes and none since i switched to 6oh manifolds.

mine definitely sounded different. more of a "rap" to the exhaust note

i doubt anyone has done just a manifold swap without any other changes, just too much work to get that far and only change the manifolds

i feel like they make the 6.0 manifolds make more noise in cab, not much more but i feel like you can hear more.

i did just manifolds and up pipes on one of the trucks and no other changes and i dont think it is your imagination about the cab noise. Sadly that truck is tradedin so i cant get a vid ;(

my truck got an atmo turbo, downpipe etc so a current vid probly wont help JGhouston much.
