Did he turn the motor over and check the entire valvetrain with the valve cover off before pulling the rockers? Did he have the crank positioned correctly when he torqued everything down?

I didn't know about the crank position so I doubt he did, please explain the procedure and what it does

No crazy procedure, I just make sure the cylinders on each bank are as close to BDC as possible before I put each head on, (service manual says 6 o clock) torque down that head into its first stage, then repeat the following for the other bank. Once both heads have been torqued to their first stage, I rotate the crank by hand a few times and check the valve train for each cylinder to make sure everything cycles as it should. I repeat the process after each stage.

Soo....upon install of the injectors ( the second time ) he realized he put in a old injector instead of the new, the first go round. Not sure if this was his problem, but it didn't help

Well after chasing problems.. New injectors ran good then found a bent push rod, wasn't running right and "metal shavings on a sensor " ipr maybe ? Idk its what he said, then a new hpop which ran good for a day, then he said that he had no fuel pump ...he said it was 0 psi key on, 40 psi once it started , loped real bad but no knocking so he out a fuel system on, now he says there is fuel leaking out his uppies.. ideas ?

If fuel leaking out up pipe sounds like an injector lifted. Maybe not torqued tight enough. Could hydro lock the engine.
