Hey guys,

I got a 2006 6.0 that the batteries went weak after a week of the truck not being driven. Got the batteries jumped enough to start the truck and get it running. I let it set for about 15 minutes and run then decided to just take it out for a spin. The EGT's seem to be running a little hot. Not even half throttle im hitting 800* on flat ground. Is there something I have missed here or something I have done wrong? Truck is SCT tuned by IDP. Thanks.

pcm is prolly adding vgt duty cycle adding exhaust backpressure to aid in cold weather conditions and engine warm up. also if the batteries were dead it will have to go thru vgt learn strategies
