6.0 white smoke

So I drove around 500 miles in the last 3 days and I noticed my truck at a stop light it would puff white smoke then nothing. Cold start same thing. The guy I bought it from had a ford dealership replace the egr in 2012 they also filled the truck up with green coolant. Haven't checked contribution but I'm thinking the egr is getting worse? Best bet to pull the valve and look inside?

I'd pull the valve and see if it's wet in the intake manifold.

I pulled the valve has a hint of coolant smell but a lot of soot in there.. Did an contribution test and injector buzz test all looks good. I'm guessing the egr took a crap

Mine was doing that. Still at the shop in fact.

Cracked EGR cooler. Had it del-e-ted and hopefully picking it up today.

Mine does this... EGR cooler is ******d, EGR is ******d. Buzz test good, contribution test good, balance test good. Not loosing coolant. Not using oil. Has head studs. Shop can't figure it out. Last they thought it was the turbo. So I put a new one on it after I had rebuilt the old one. Still does it. Don't have a clue what's causing it. Took it too two other shops, no idea. Only does it when first throttling.
