Moving along in my refresh project....
NOT PICTURED - I fixed my broken cup holder after a year LOL! The floor plate that the cups sit on snapped a mounting ear, so with the help of a member here I bought a cupholder set out of a part out truck he had, swiped the floor plate, figured out the chinese puzzle of springs and put it all back together. One more thing off the check list
Now on to other small projects. My speakers and shorty antenna arrived today. I read great reviews on the kicker speakers and I had my runs with tons of stereo systems in the past. I just wanted to replace the stockers that are blown and be done with it. I actually upgraded the head unit to a 2008 nav head unit a few years ago and the speakers just finally gave up a couple weeks ago. Also my stupid factory antenna rubs everything it can so I read good reviews on this shorty antenna and gonna give it a shot. Here is a pic of the parts to go in, I will report back with how they sound. I am also most likely going to put an alpine power pack to power these up a bit and would like to eventually add an MTX single sub behind the seat just for a little lows. Anyhow we will see how this does for now
