6.4 powerstroke rough idle at start

So just got done doing the full egr ****** on my truck. Drove it a few days and it started to start rough. It starts real good but idles rough for about 15-30 secs. Then takes right off like normal. If I start it up and give it a touch of throttle it will take right off just like normal. It only does this on start up. I monitored my gph on my mini maxx and when it's idling rough it bounces between 4-6 when its idling normal it stays between 9-11 gph. My first thought is fuel filters it's been about 4000 miles since changed. But after that im thinking maybe lift pump? Or is there something else I should look at?

Also a question where is the gph reading from on my mini maxx I'm assuming before the hpfp?

Bump so I just changed fuel filters hoping it would fix the problem and no luck only other thing I can add is it has a real bad up pipe leak not sure if that would cause that or not? Any ideas or help would be appreciated thanks

Sounds like a sticky injector or something along that line. You run any fuel treatment?

I have had my 09 6.4 since it was new. Did a little reading, and decided to run a fuel additive. My trucking co. used Power Service. Why, so I checked, and found out this Low Sulfur fuel is a little short on lub, and most fuel is low cetane. So, I run Power Service. Not a problem since new.

Well I keep the fuel additive in mind if it does it again but I think I fixed it over the weekend. All I did was reprogram the truck about six times from easy tunes to hd tunes then back and forth something happend where it's starting normal now thanks for the input though
