Any progress finding the problem?

No not yet unfortunately. I haven't had the chance to mess with it again. I did do an oil change and put new fuel filters on this weekend just to rule that variable out. And they didn't change anything

I disagree...why spend money on a pump when you can diagnose it for free?

If we're going to go that route, lets just suggest a big aftermarket pump. Stick a Fuelab in there, it will flow enough to cover up any other problems that might be causing the pressure drop issue. Great if you are selling the pump...not so great if its your wallet that has to pay for it.

Point is simple...it might be the pump...it might not. If you have money to burn, buy a pump. If not, take the time to determine where the real issue lies.

Im going to try to test it this weekend. But if it turns out to be the pump...why not just replace the actual pump itself? Just out of curiosity and I am a college student on a tight budget at the moment. Just buying the pump would save me $100-200 compared to buying a new hfcm. But Im not stuck on gpoing that route if that be the case.

Agreed. Follow the suggestion given by Stricly Diesel, then if it needs replacement just do the pump. Make sure to clean the HFCM thoroughly as well.

Well it turned out to be the pump. I had the return line clamped shut on the last test run I did and pressure still dropped to 40psi at WOT.
