Could you put up a pic with this installed or or plastic one installed? I'm leaking coolant in the rear of the engine and I'm thinking this could be the culprit but I cant picture where this is..

This part will not leak out the back. It is in the drivers side front.

Do these only come in SS (it appears to be) or can they be had in aluminum as well?

Aluminum would vibrate and crack out. Also aluminum is prone to alkaline erosion. SS is the only way to go.
