The OEM cluster in your 55 is going to be mostly mechanical, where the 6.0 will be all electrical. So not compatible there. I would stick to the 6.0 cluster, remove the bezel and have a new one made that fits the dash opening and around the 6.0 cluster.

I plan on using a dakota digital unit that is all electrical and has a remote "brain" that has inputs for all the different sensors...

...I just need to make sure itll the 6.0 will be be able to work w'o the oem cluster.
Sorry for the hijack OP...

This is what I gotta do to change tires out.. Lol got my billet axle shafts going in, installing Trans cooler, finishing nitrous kit, and fixing an axle seal. And maybe a killer burn out later today!

It's been forever since this thread was updated!!

How's the old Toad doing? Any changes along the way?

Curious on the front suspension after its been on the road a bit. Do you have any detailed pictures and info on it. Shock location, frame notches for bags, what bags, frame width, hub to hub width, etc?

Also what's ride height to drive? How much overall height adjustment with the bags?

I'm going to be building a 1951 F3 dually "shop truck" on air. Want to tuck the front wheels and doing a Chevy a-arm swap. But mine is going to be setup to use as a hauler too.
