i picked a used set up, one of them deals so good you can't pass up. do you have to run gaskets?

Technically you would not need gaskets but I personally would use gaskets just to be safe

if you surfaced the head, and manifold, i think you would be fine.

otherwise, i would run gaskets.

only other thing to think about is, is the thickness of the gasket going to affect up-pipe mounting? that 1/8"ish could be a real pita.
