Just swapped injectors now my truck wont start. The only time it does is when I use liquid encouragement and it only starts for a second then shuts off. I have everything hooked up right. I'm out of ideas though. Any suggestions?

Here's an idea....quit using starting fluid! Double check all connections especially the main one on the drivers side valve cover. It will take a while considering all the oil in the rails was drained. If it still don't fire gonna need to scan for codes.

How long have you been cranking on the truck?

Can take a few cranking cycles of 10-15 seconds or so to get it running...

Check the level of oil in the hpop res... Check battery voltage, maybe put a charger on them... Do you have AE or scan gauge where you can watch ICP and DC% values? Lastly, Triple check that all connectors are tight and not just sorta connected.

I've never had a truck take more than 3-5 cranking cycles to start up and run in the 5 injector swaps I've done over the years...

My guess is either something came undone in the uvch when you were putting the covers back on or some other electrical connection was either knocked loose or not put back on tight enough.

All you need is strong batteries, fuel, oil, air and everything should go.

Are the replacement injectors used, new, built?

Pull the allen head screw off the top of the hpop reservoir and see if you have oil. I'm guessing your lpop could have lost prime.

Has oil in the hpop res. gonna take it apart and check the uvch tomorrow. The only difference between now and when I moved the truck behind my shop is injectors. They were used but I had them cleaned and flowed before I put them in. I cycle the key and the fuel bowl fills.

I did mine the other night and mine took a shat load of cranking to get it to light off. Do you have access to a scan gauge or ae to see the rail pressure ?

could be something as easy as a blown fuse(check your ecm fuse. ) could have fried your idm if you left your batteries hooked up durning your injector swap. plenty of things it could be. First thing I would do is get someone with an AE over there and do a buzz test that will verify everything is hooked up and making the right connections also will give you codes from your IDM that could be bad. That's the direction I would go with it.

Didn't happen to plug the EBPV connector into the IPR did you? I believe they are the same plug, check it.

Did you have a ts chip installed at the same time ? I did that with mine and had a no start for a day, cranked and cranked and cranked and cranked probably a hour total crank time over the course of a afternoon. Started to back track and wiggled the ts chip, started right up

sent while needing more cowbell
