I was hoping you would respond Ervin. Is there a chance the diaphragm in this thing is blown from running all the time?
Thanks for the info. I'll get under there and see.

Do I know you, how do you know my name is Ervin?

You can unplug the main line from the pump and see if you feel suction. That will tell you if the pump is actually working. Once you confirm it is working, just follow the lines until you find the leak. You can replace the lines for really cheap also.

You name is in your profile. I live in Arlington too.
My name is Aaron.
You usually have plenty of helpful fixes on these trucks. I appreciate it.

I live near the ballpark. Right off Bowen road, north of Division. I used to live down off near Green Oaks and 20. I used to work at AppleJacks Liquor way back in the day.

I just fixed my friends excursion that was doing this. It was the vacuum solenoid. Mounts on the fender by the vacuum pump and battery. Has a white rectangular cap with one electrical plug and two vacuum connections towards the bottom.

Mine is this canister. It's leaking I guess.

I just plugged the pump in directly to the AC line and it's the best air flow I have ever had. I guess I'll pull this thing and try to seal it.

OR throw it away. None of my trucks have it, with no issues.
Manual lockouts, of course.

I put OE hubs back on. I might try and get it all working right. It might be more work than I got time for now. I'm good to manual lock for now.

Yeah, that's a vacuum reservoir. Sometimes you can seal them with a hot knife, just plastic weld a crack back together. Pulling it out and throwing it away also works good.

Has anyone ever replaced this part? It's pretty hard to find.
