7.3 super duty fan on obs

Putting my 94.5 back together that I took apart years ago. Put the fan and shroud on, and then realized its a super duty fan after I found the obs fan. Any reason not to run it? It obviously fits, and is a whole lot lighter.

No problem, long as it's the correct direction.
I've heard of the 6.0 fan being a upgrade.

I don't think a SD fan fits on the OBS fan clutch. A 6.0 fan fits on the OBS fan clutch.

I used the complete super duty fan and clutch. It may have been off an 03 van. Can't remember where it came from.
