7pin problems

On my truck, with factory tow package, 7pin and 4pin where the wiring harness connects to the actual trailer plug there is a plug from the harness to the back of the plug.

Can I get just the piece from the wiring harness to the trailer plug? The clip that holds mine in place broke and the connection is not tight and the wiring harness does not maintain contact with trailer tow plug.

Contact sunrise. Think I bought that whole pigtail and bracket and all for pretty cheap

Not too far new one will show you pretty easy my brother had to buy one as well pretty simple

You could also try a trailer store if you have one close by

Yeah theres one up the road about 20 min. might try that tomorrow after work.

its a ford part, cost me about 95.00. i cant for the life of me find my receipt with the part number on it. two dealers i talked to said i needed to buy the whole harness and finally i got someone that could get the pigtail and plug alone.

Just call sunrise ford. They told me you can buy that desperate and its pretty cheap. Maybe like 40 for all of it. I don't remember

Yep I have had to get just the pigtail and It was like 40 bucks at Ford.

walked into my local dealer today while working, got the part ordered....$37.50. just the pigtail should have it tomorrow, thanks guys.

Parts installed, took 20 min being careful and heat shrinking everything.
