I doubt you would see any changes other than steering of center a little
but if you do the spacer get ready to jack the front sky high or use a spring compressor
in addition to jacking the truck frame up and remove sway bar and shocks
i even had to remove the tires and lower the axle after the truck was blocked up at the frame by using 2 floor jacks before I had enough room to remove/install spacers
I didn't have a 1", but tried a 2" spacer to bump my 8" up to 10" and had problems with the front driveshaft binding and it made the truck a little rougher from the increased angle of the four link bars.
You will need an adjustable trac bar to re-center the front axle also.
