84 Mercedes 300D

I’m selling my 84 Mercedes 300D turbo diesel with 227,xxx miles. I just replaced the valve seals, has new battery <1.5 YO, new tires< 5k miles, new master cylinder, new brake booster(not installed). Needs ball joints and some minor tuning. I did a compression test last year and all cylinders were within +/- 10%. This was my daily driver for over 4 years (40 miles round trip) usually get 30+ MPG and is a blast to drive. I just don’t have time for it anymore. $2,000 obo located in Phenix City, AL

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. No the ac does not work. it worked great before I deployed but after sitting for a year I guess it leaked down.

I think he is avoiding that question lol..... I just sold my 300d to my buddy it has over 400k on it and he drives the piss out of it every day? But from my reading the ac is notorious for going out on these I know mine had that 2/ 75 air lol

Yeah Im in Alabama, just out of Fort Benning. The car needs upper ball joints, belts, and brake booster installed. No rust (which is way too common for these cars), reasonable wear and tear for a 29 yo car, new battery, and has a DIY intake to ditch the huge stocker. Oh and the distilled water jugs, and coolant in the truck are for a flush I just haven't got to yet. I work full time, have 14 credit hours of school this semester, and a wife and kid. Just don't have time to get anything done.

Going to bump this up. Ball joints are $65 for the uppers, $25 for the lowers at NAPA. You can get the lowers a little cheaper here http://www.mercedessource.com/ but there is shipping.
