94.5 was a stroke not idi. 94 is idi turbo or NA. Nothing about the 2 will interchange with out major mods.

94 and 94.5 Turbo and non-turbo IDIs were installed throughout the complete model year.

94.5 PSDs were stick only, no auto PSDs were installed. So, there is an overlap in installation between the IDIs and PSD in 94.5. My brother has a 94.5 Turbo IDI auto.

My suggestion to anyone serious about the IDI is to join Oil Burners and become part of the community over there. One of the nicest and most helpful forums I've had the pleasure to be on. Some folks over there really dedicated to keeping the IDI alive. And the part you are looking for can be found, not cheap, and should be replaced with the part that leads up to the turbo. The joint between the 2 is the common problem.
