How hard will it be to weld new wheel Arches on a bed for a beginning welder?

I went the easy way and bought a new old stock bed for the 95. F trying to cut one up lol. My skills aren't that good.


I had no choice with the cab tho.

I would put COMPLETE skins on. Less work, and nicer repair.


I agree, and I did the patch panels on both sides. As well as removed a million dents from the rest of the bed. With the amount of time I put into the bed, which still needs a final sand. I could have the whole truck done. Also, check your inner fender wells, you probably need to repair those.

Those quarter sized holes will probably be baseball sized when you get back to clean metal.
