95 f350 wiring problems

I have a 95 f350 had a wiring harness fire so I tore the dash apart and replaced the whole harness that hose from the fire wall all the way behind the dash. I have a 95 srw and the wiring came out of a 97 drw. All the connectors fit except 1 It will idle but no throttle response I also don't have wipers exempt when I turn the key all the way to start then they work by themselves. Also the od off light is flashing and cel is on

The computer codes shouldn't have anything to do with it.

You are going to have to go on a treasure hunt and get a EVTM manual (electrical, Vacuum, Troubleshooting manual) for each year to go through the wiring to figure it out. Or just get one for the 97 and back trace the wiring from the component that isn't working to the switches.

I have the same problem and have yet to figure it out. Trucks been sitting for months now I pretty much gave up on it. Which connector was different for you? If I remember correctly they were all the same

There are some differences between the earlier trucks and the 97's, especially on the main firewall feedthrough connector C202. As Bugman suggested, you will most likely need both years' EVTMs to figure it out. I've posted on forums before on this same issue, although I'm not sure I had a good answer for fixing it. I'll try searching and see what comes up. Cheers!

if you look on powerstroke nation on the SD computer upgrade one of the guys posted on page two pin out info if your truck is a 95 how to splice the TPS he has 96 and back on there though that is not correct a 96 and 97 are the same but a 95 is not on the tps for sure.
