Looking for some guidance on my build.. I have a 95 f250 and I plan to run 44s I'm thinking of a shackle reversal plus a lift.. Anyone who has done this your input would be much appreciated .. I'm definitely not new when it comes to mods or re-fabrication just looking for some pointers or a good place to start this monster in progress

If you still have the D50 front axle that needs to be the first thing you replace. For 44's I wouldn't consider anything other than coil or it will take 40 acres to turn the rig around. The best starting point would be 05+ axles which will also help you stop.

If you do a rsk the super duty springs are a must. I didn't do them when I did my old truck and it made it miserable to drive anywhere for a long time and that was only on 37s. A D50 will not hold up so your best bet is to look for a d60 if not a set of super duty axles

Depending on your budget I have everything you will need. I had gathered everything for a project that changed at the last minute.

Brand new springs that with a 5" rsk will equal approx 20" lift.

Built Dana 80 front and rear axles with 5.13's.

Even a set of 46" Michelin (445/75/22.5) tires, wheels and adapters.

Like said, definitely get rid of the dana 50. If its anything but a DEEP mud truck or show truck dont use leaf springs because it will ride horrible having that much arch in them. When I did mine I just used King coilovers and built a truss and radius arms on my factory 97 dana 60 housing. If you are as proficient at fabrication as you imply then I would say this is your best bet because it is easier to find leaf sprung housings than coil sprung ones.

here is what I did
