started losing power changed fuel filter. changed cam sensor. 50+ lbs of fuel pressure. I need help. I can normally figure things out but not this one. any ideas?

no vacuum leaks found. fuel bowl full every time I have looked at it.

What's the loss of power? Is it sluggish all around or at certain RPM's / times?

Is it chipped? Is loss of power noticed on all settings? Have you tried removing it?

Are your up-pipes leaking? Any change in boost?

Have you checked for a dragging caliper?

Are any codes being thrown?

How old is the oil?

Did you recently fill up? Contaminated fuel is horrible.

You say it's not smoking more than normal, but have you tried a WOT run to see if it looks like a tire fire?

How old is your air filter?

OP, troubleshooting these engines often takes data combined with intuitive experience. With them being so electronically controlled, data from those controls is needed.

-If you have good fuel pressure, that's good. Dont need to worry about that.
-What kind of CPS did you use? The best reliability typically comes from a Ford or International part.
-Any check engine codes?
-Any hot/cold start issues?
-Is the issue more noticable when cold or hot? Is the EBPV still hooked up?

If you have a buddy with Auto Enginuity or a Scanner that can datalog, that would be excellent. If not, I'd be looking for a diesel specialist that can assist to get this data. Where do you live?

Solid loss of power. No codes. Believe the barometric pressure sensor is the problem. Putting a new one tomorrow. hope it fixesit.

no other issues other than this and was sudden onset running highway speed at the time of onset. clean fuel filter and air. cleaned screen on the side of fuel bowl.

I don't know about the fuel pressure going down the road. it won't run down the road right now. This truck is stock don't know if that helps or not.

checked again for vac leaks this morning no leaks found. baro sensor will be here later maybe the ticket I hope

That right there is one of the problems. A diesel motor makes no vacuum. Your OBS has a vacuum pump to operate the power brakes and A/C. A superduty has an electrical vacuum pump to operate the A/C doors and the auto locking hubs.

Read a lot of threads trying to fix up mine and never once have I come across one having baro sensor problems.

^^^ agreed... Im not aware that sensor should cause a no start.

OP, have you attempted to actually read codes or are you assuming that since you did not see a CEL, there's no code? Pls make sure theres no recorded codes, clear them if any, then try to start, and check for codes again.
