96 F-350 bed step

Folks, truck is a 1996 F-350 regular cab, looking for nerf bars, running boards, bed steps whatever you would like to call them, "wheel to wheel' seems to be a phrase used, steps into the cab are no the priority, but access into the bed in front of the rear wheel is, truck is being used a brush truck for the fire dept and has tools stored in the front corners. Trying to avoid time consuming fabrication or modification to exiting steps, but may end up with some carr hoop steps on a modified mount. Anyone had any luck doing something similar?

Have you contacted N-Fab? They make exactly what you’re describing. Their site says “temporarily unavailable”, but a call to them could give you a better idea.
