97 Forged rod longblock

I've it posted in my other ad, but figured i'd throw up a separate one for it as i need it gone.

Its a 1997 longblock, pulled it out of my truck at 205k miles. Had some oil leaks and other issues so we yanked it out, then i ended up stumbling across a good deal on a low mileage and clean engine that i tore into. Compression is #1-320 #2-320 #3-310 #4-340 #5-315 #6-300 #7-310 #8-285

It started fine, ran alright, and was my DD until it got a bad oil leak from the pedestal area. It is the longblock, exhaust manifolds, and up-pipes/collector. Asking $600 OBO. Located between Dayton, Ohio and the Indiana border.

Bump, surely somebody needs a forged rod LB to build!


If its not sold in a week i'll most likely be tearing it down and scrapping the block and heads.

I've got one person here, and one local person possibly interested in it right now. If nothing comes off it i'll try to get it on the stand this weekend. Just flat busy right now with hay/straw, and a pile of **** that needs done on my truck, that has yet to get done. LOL
