Forget what brand this was (pic is from 08) but I loved this grille on my old 7.3. It was a full billet grille with a polished metal shell and everything. Billet ford emblem too. Super nice piece and looked awesome.

I don't want to derail the thread, but do you remember what the tire (size) and wheel setup was on this? To the OP, I'm curious about yours as well.

I know it may be "old" style and not what everyone is into these days, but I've always just loved the look and it doesn't break the bank.

On a side note, I'm glad to see this thread. Idk why, but it seems like threads pertaining to our model year trucks are few and far between. Everyone does the 05 upgrade and calls it a day. So I'm glad to see something different.

I'm running pro comp 16x10 wheels with cooper discoverer at3 305x70r16. Definitely more of an old school style I guess.

I'm with you on the 99-04 style grilles. Don't get me wrong, I like the 05-07, but everyone does that. You can see the grille I ended up going with in my avatar.

i agree completely.

i thought about trying that grill with the black trim where yours is chrome and painting it to match. not sure if that would be to much billet up front.. wish I had the photo shopping skills to try things out like this. but then again, i feel like i would spend a lot more money haha

Awesome thanks! I really love the look of that one and the OP's.

I don't know which ones they are, but I see a lot of trucks with them, so I don't know if they were offered as a factory upgrade or it was just the popular aftermarket upgrade during the years...but I love the look of these. Not really flashy, but a nice look IMO. This was the clearest photo of one that I could find on google.

Thanks. It was a sharp truck for sure. I think those wheels were just the hot ticket in the early 2000's LOL.

Any body else have after market grilles on their 99-04? I'm running a stock painted one right now but thinking about changing it up some.

This setup looks great, it's kind of nice seeing a good looking 99-04 front end.
