99 F250 questions

Hey Guys,

Buying a late 99 F250 XLT. The power door locks wont lock, they almost act like they are weak, they wont put the locks up, or pull them down, on either door. Any suggestions?

Also both Power windows are really really slow going up and down. I actually have to assist them when putting them up? Any thoughts here?

Last question, It has leaf springs up front, and my 06 has coil spring. What all would be involved in converting a 99 to a coil spring front end?


Any and all help on these are greatly appreciated.

For the power locks do a search for the power door lock mod. Easy fix just takes some time.

Some lube on the window tracks will fix your window issues.

For your last question. Why would you want to change to an inferior spring system. If you want comfort instead of competence, check it GM.
