Don't use the 99 engine harness. Alternator won't charge and the coolant temp will do some funny stuff.

:whs: Use the 02 engine harness and drop the 99 engine in. No need to change PCM or IDM like was stated before.

Youre probably gonna have to swap your coolant temp sensor. Ive ran into issues before, there were like 3 different sensors... or you could get lucky and have no problems at all

The motor is out of a CCLB 99' I was just curious because I thought that 99 injectors were single shot and the 02 injectors were split shot.. Thanks guys that helps a lot !!

If its an e99, for it to be exactly like your other motor, you will need to swap injectors, intake plenums and spyder, and e99's dont have the aih's, so you will either have to swap over the bracket from the 02 to keep the aih in tact (I ditched mine and just heat shrinked over the power wires terminals going to the aih relay and zip tied them to the rest of the harness and swapped the early 99 bracket that only had the glow plug relay )
You will also HAVE to use the 2002 engine harness. thats it iirc, but I also havent really messed with 7.3's in a bit

I put a 99 engine into my 02 with no problems. Of course I switched injectors and other parts off my engine, but still the same PCM and IDM.

You will need to swap intake plenums, spyder, figure out what you want to do with your aih relay, either delete it or install the bracket off the 02 motor for both the gpr and aih relay. You will need the 02 engine harness, and I would swap injectors, aktgough either set will work. E99's had 15 degree hpops too, so you may want to swap that over too. Thats all I can think of right off the top of my head

Turbo setups are different. RH manifold and turbo will need to be changed to stay 02 style.
