Got my motor swap done, along with studs and springs. Now it feels extremely low on power, won't build over 27psi of boost. It also has a tea kettle sound to it which has me nervous being that it was studded one by one. Also when I get on it hard and let off it will stall itself out, I figure this is ipr related. Haven't got a chance to check it on a scanner or leak check the boots and everything. Just wanting to get some opinions on something I may have easily over looked.

7.3, can't find soot anywhere. turbo mount bolts were all tight. Tomorrow ill build a boost leak detector. Checked all the boots, they all visually look good. I'm thinking it may be a plenum leak but 20psi seems like it would be something obviously leaking.

I wish you guys were closer, I'd bring it to you. I'm tired of this thing already haha. Fuel pump decided to crap out on the test drive when i first got the swap done, now its one thing after another.

I got around to checking everything today. Found one boost leak, fixed it and rechecked everything. It runs good, still feels low on power compared to what it was. I can only see 30psi tops, checked for boost leaks and exhaust leaks and found absolutely nothing after the first leak was fixed. Didn't get to scan it will do that tomorrow, any more ideas?

I just don't see that much fuel being pulled from the tune to only see 30psi, tho it won't go above 1200* at wot.

Forgot to mention the drive valve cover came unplugged the other day so the 1294 may be from that, it came up when i did the koeo test.

got a chance to drive it and scan it. Has started to stall out more and more now.

wot icp was 3150 and ipr was ~70%
when it was stalling at a stop sign icp was 900 and ipr was 30-40%
running fine at a stop sign icp was 550-600 and ipr was 14%
at idle after driving icp was ~550-580 ipr was 22%
cruising 30-35mph icp was 1000 ipr was 30%
ran a cct test got p0266 code- cylinder 2 balance fault and a p1294- high side open bank 2 (accidently started it with the valve cover gasket undone the other day, don't know if this caused it.)

I have a new ipr on the way, icp is ~3-4 months old. I don't know exactly what I'm looking at with these numbers any help would be apprectiated.

stock hpop on 250s. The whole thing is the week before the motor swap it was holding icp and ipr fine, that's why I would find it hard to believe that the hpop has gone bad in between the time I took it off one motor and walked over and bolted it to the new one. My new ipr will be here today so I'll test that out. It's getting a t500 here in the next few weeks too.

Been thinking about this for a bit. Do you know the history of the motor you installed? I'd be very curious what kind of psi the lpop was putting out. Could be starving the HPOP?

No history on the motor, I thought about that today, I was thinking the ipr may have been stuck open and just bleeding off even tho the computer is trying to tell it otherwise. I'll check out lpo tomorrow. I just know the motor had 180k and came from a wrecked truck. the only thing we really changed off my old motor was pull the ipr and clean it, thats why i figured that. I'll post back up after the new ipr and lpo check.

You have any hard start issues? No compression #s on the motor installed?
