Aftermarket lift pumps.

Anyone running an aftermarket lift pump such as a fass or airdog? I'm just curious on how they install. Do they bypass the factory filters and pump or join in conjunction?

Sub'd wonder about this myself. Would it help our trucks any adding one right now or would it be pointless sense the Cp4 can't push out any more fuel?

Dang, I guess it does help to read lol.
I must have scanned over it. From the air dog kit I was reading it just runs in conjunction. Not sure if that would be better or worse but sure seems less worrys and more filtration unless you get the fass HD but I'm not sure what would be a better kit.

I would run the fass straight to the cp4 like it says but I hear you on the filtration side. The air dog does run in conjunction I believe yes. All Fass stuff goes from their pump straight to injection pump I think.

Is the kit going to run a large spin on filter like a Cat or Donaldson filter with maybe a Baldwin water separator ?
