Update- my brother installed the new muffler today and my exhaust still looks very close to "factory" spec and I like it. I can only compare it to factory 2005 exhaust but the sound is great IMO. The factory pipe was used in the installation, the muffler is a donaldson 40" and it has a nice deep sound upon startup, plenty of turbo whistle, and a nice (but still relatively quiet) tone at idle. I would like to post a vid once the rest of the truck is done...
