Instead of using the blocks that came with my 4.5" lift, I want to buy a set of 6" leaf springs and run them with no block at all, which would give 4 inches of lift.

Are there any issues with running no block that I should know of? Will my pinion angle be drastically changed? Where do I get u-bolts that are that short? Thanks

You can get shims to correct the angle if it changes , the u bolts i have made at a driveline shop .

Different year, but I am running a 4.5 kit and my rear has blocks and a AirLift 5000 bag kit. No sag and perfect for towing and rides great. I would go that route before all spring setup.

I know a guy with a 4.5" Icon lift and 6" rear springs, and no blocks...

Between spring and axle to set pinion angle.

Thanks. Since my blocks are completely flat now I would assume I don't need any shims under the spring.

Did you have any issues with yours Tank?
