Allison in a powerstroke?

How about a Maxxforce7 rear cover? They run an allison behind the international 6.4 but not sure if the bellhousing matches that of the dmax allison bellhousing

The bellhousing on the Dmax Allison is a Chevy pattern - the Maxxforce7 most likely has one of the SAE patterns on the trans with an adapter just like every medium duty app has.

I know its a name thing, but how good is those allisons? two of the guys I use to work with had 60hp chips in there 08s and they both needed rebuilt one at 10k after the tuner and one at 18k.. not sure what there like built tho

Tuning plays a factor in how long trannys last just like our fords. They are fairly good transmissions, and if you add a shift kit and get some more fluid flowing, they hold up good too. No they want hold up to the added RWHP that the Torqshift holds to in stock form, but they are still good trannys
