You just need to swap input shafts on the tcase, elongate one hole on the Allison flange and locate a single speed sensor that is typically found in the tcase on the Dmaxes. No adapters necessary.
Thanks Jason. That seems straight forward. I was planning on a stand alone controller either way and I personally like what the Allison has to offer. I knew from reading changes had to be made to the transfer case or a swap done but did not know what or how extensive it was.
This will likely be the winter project for this year. Will take some time to track down a great deal on one locally anyways I am sure.
