That RBP grille looks amazing on your truck man! The color combo matches perfectly.
Will you be doing black headlights I assume? Keeping the reflector? This truck looks killer, as expected.

Looks good Josh. Are you happy with the wheel/tire setup?

Just a suggestion, can you add a spacer behind the wheel to give it a wider, more aggressive stance? Wish those 96r's came with wider widths b/c the wheel design is great. I bet some 24" 96r's would look killer on it.

are you gonna do something with the rear ford emblem? (custom emblem, take it apart and paint it black?) IMO it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb on there

I told him the same thing. He shot me down.

Yes, I am happy with the wheel and tire setup. I was skeptical about the RBP wheels at first and wanted to run BMF but they dont offer anything in a 22 that would work on a leveled truck. Id love to run a 24" as well but no one makes a tire for a 24 in the 35" range.

Yes, I am doing something custom to the tailgate handle and emblem. Might be redoing my fender "vents" too

I love it, small but packs a great punch. I have used this amp in my 08 as well, and have the marine version in my boat.

Looks awesome, Did you do something to the fuel door? I just noticed it was taken off too.
It was taken off so the painter could do a spray out to match color.

I told him the same thing. He shot me down.

Not shooting it down really, but I am still feeling the truck out and seeing what I want to do next. Personally I am not really into really wide tires, or having them stick out too far. If the truck was taller id for sure have gone with a more negative offset and had the tire stick out more but for right now im happy with the stance.

It's nice to see a truck that doesn't have super offset wheels and/or extra wide tires stretched out on extra wide wheels. Do you know if your bass knob is a gain control or just signal booster? There is a big difference. Signal boosters, usually found on cheaper amps which I assume by your truck yours isn't, are similar to the "loud" feature on head units and usually lead to distortion. Gain controls are just remote gain knobs that max out wherever you gain is set on the amp. I would much rather have the latter of the two especially with a stock head unit.

I believe it's a gain control. JL amps have a telephone wire input that connects on the other end to the knob.

I set the gain on the amp where it sounded hood when the stereo is cranked. Then with the knob I can adjust by song or listening level desired.
