alternator replacement

The alternator finally kicked the bucket on the way home today--power in but nothing on the charge post and its chirping. Whats everyone having good luck with?

I have a DC Power alternator. It has worked well. When the regulator went out, they replaced it in 15 minutes, thankfully I am reasonably local, service and warranty is top notch.

I saw those.. being local is nice for warranty work.

I'm likely gonna go with a new delco replacement. Will get it going after the parts show up.

Go with the bigger frame alt as it will make more juice at idle.

x2 on the large case alternator. That's what I did after my Ford reman one went out shortly after I had replaced the original one.

I’ve had good luck with the large case Bosch alternator with lifetime warranty on amazon and run it with a 58mm pulley.
