Was checking out the engine this evening, stuck my hand down in the valley to feel for oil/fuel leaks. Found a nut and a spacer off the ipr, truck was running just fine, no issues. Solenoid slides back and forth fine on the rod. Cleaned everything and put it back together. Curious as to how the truck was still running with the solenoid just sliding around doing nothing? Any thoughts
