That second video just looks like it's low on freon. First video looks like an electrical issue, usually pressure issues are more rythmic. A real set of gauges will help you get a better idea of what's going on. High side could be way high and triggering the high pressure switch.

Do a Google search for 7.3 AC air gap. You will see many resources on how to check it and make sure it is in spec.

If it is not that, I bet it is the low pressure switch.

Try wiggling the switch when the truck is running and the AC on. See if it makes the clutch engage and stay engaged.
Yep, I bet it is this. This is exactly what happened with mine.

Do you have a multimeter, a uv light, or any friends who may own a shop that have an AC machine? Those charge it yourself cans really suck. I do a lot of a/c work and would like to help you out, and am more than willing, but you really need those three things to accurately diag and fix a/c systems!

I know its not the best tools, but I bought a set of gauges and a vacuum pump from harbor freight for cheap. did my wife's condenser last year and have had no problems with it since.

Same here. People can say what they want about HF stuff. For us weekend warrior mechanics they work fine. So far the only complaint I have had was with Pittsburg ratchets, they suck. I have had their sockets stand up to abuse with impacts and come out in better shape than some expensive sockets on impacts. Don't think I would feel comfortable trusting their torque wrenches either. Unless it's the beam type.

funny you say that, I had my hand on a 3/8" drive torque wrench just this week and decided against it. I need a lower torque, smaller wrench for the in between stuff.

I had to replace the pigtail on mine also. Three times. Twice, I did it in a hurry on the side of the road, twist caps. The last time, when I gone home with the twist caps, I removed them and used solder crimps and heat shrink.

The tools there have gotten better in the last two years. I wonder if it isnt craftsman stuff. Nothing concrete about that theory. More of a dig at craftsman.

Craftsman is shti. I took ANOTHER 3/4 breaker bar back. I rejected three of them before i took one. I think the tools at rural king look better lol. I bought a 3/4" ratchet there and a 3/4" breaker bar too. The ratchet is way beefier than my craftsman one.

Ok, there are a few things you need to check. Clutch would be one, but you did that, make sure at the compressor that you have good ground at the plug, and third is it looked like from your video that the system was very low. It may just be too low for it not to come on now. That gauge you have has 3 red lines on it. The center one needs to point to the temperature currently outside when your ready to add 134a. The other 2 lines (the V) is where you charge your system to. Add refrigerant until it is inside the V of your gauge. Make sure you have power going to the compressor as well, make sure a fuse didn't pop.
