any tips or tricks on 5r110 drop

im going to attempt to swap my converter anyone have any helpful advice and what will be some of the hard parts about it ive never done this before

get a tranny jack, and strap it to it.

dont drop the transfer case off it, leave it on, as long as you ahve a tranny jack. all you have to do is slide it back.

other than drop the drive shaft, remove lines, and unhook your plugs and/or linkages, it really is straightforward.

a couple 1/2" extensions, and a swivel will let you use a impact on the bell housing bolts.

and when the trans is out, check your up pipes for visible leaks or cracks.

Don't forget the tc.

36" (or something close in length) 3/8" drive extension and swivle socket for the tranny to block bolts make life mucho easy
