Anybody had LMC clear cab lights apart?

I have an extra set of LMC LED lights. I'm going to try and modify one to use the factory style 194 light socket just to see if it will work out. I am happy with the LMC set, but it took two set before I had one set that all worked correctly. The LMC set is still better quality than the clear set APC produced years ago. I went through a few set of those because the lenses would blow off while driving.

Is there anything inside the light that wouldn't make a 194 bulb work? I can't imagine there is anything reflective in a stock housing that the LMC wouldn't have right? It would just be so much easier if they would just sell the clear housings and they weren't so expensive, not that they are too bad, but if I mess one up, it would suck.
