your wrong... i ordered the upgraded blue spring. i wasnt informed of the gillette spring untill after it was shipped from.. which you had to know that since i had mentioned that i never heard of the gillette spring untill you informed me you was shipping a gillette spring from utah, that was when it was explained, not at the time of the order. i simply wanted a drop in upgraded spring... either way its coming back, i dont feel comfortable using it. end of story, my questions have been answered, safe or not it wasnt what i ordered.

Good on you. I wouldn't feel comfortable either installing something I didn't originally order that could lead to potential problems down the road. I think you might be best to just hit your Ford parts department, or even Sunrise Ford(site sponsor) and get what you need. Just copy down that info Zmann posted up and you will be set

I apologize for the miscommunication. I thought it was clear that it was not a blue spring before it was shipped. And even after it shipped, I still offered a full refund,(because you were upset it had not shipped yet) but you declined. The spring has had No failures, period. We do not and have never carried a blue spring. Once again, I personally apologize for the inconvenience, I would be more than glad to refund you.
Thank you for your business, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make my customers happy.

Ran that spring for about a month in my personal truck. Pegged a 100psi gauge, and couldn't hold 25psi on a 1/4mile stomp. Put the blue spring in, and 70psi at idle, and about 54ish as long as I wanna hold my foot to the floor. No thanks. It got bounced right into the round file.

Miscommunications happen. JJ offered an appology and a full refund, I'll still do business with Dozer's.

We make 1100hp on 60psi fuel pressure. There is no reason to ever ramp fuel pressure to 90psi. You'll start have oil/fuel dilution problems over time as the orings were never made to handle that kind of pressure. I realize these are cheap fixes but down the road you should really consider a higher volume fuel pump regulated properly. Just my 2cents

No doubt Shawn it is an inexpensive fix to a volume problem not a spring tension / psi issue. The stock string would hold psi with a high volume lift pump. The excess volume after the set psi would just bleed back to the tank. RR and lift pump are inevitable if you plan on keeping bigger sticks happy. To the op please contact me for your refund.

As also explained zmann the Gillette spring will hold better psi in the event you are dropping psi with the blue ford spring.

Those two lines are contradictory. It doesn't matter what spring you have in there, as long as it's not worn out to the point it's just popping off at any little pressure, the volume is the problem. A 90psi spring or a 65psi spring doesn't matter if your pump can't supply the volume needed. If you're still dropping with a brand new blue spring, you need a better pump.

A true RR like you suggested is a much better approach than the silly spring in the fuel bowl anyways.
